Westlaw Next Tip: COLOR CODE YOUR RESEARCH

WITH MULTIPLE COLORS FOR NOTES and HIGHLIGHTING

Throw away your highlighters! Now you can add notes and highlight WestlawNext documents in seven different colors: yellow, blue, green, pink, orange, purple, and black. When you highlight in black it changes the text color to white so you can see your highlighting if you print the document on a black-and-white printer. Choose the color you want for “supporting law” or “un-supporting law” or maybe a color for a legal topic. If you remember a certain part of a case was against your argument but the rest was in-favor, it’s easy to scan the document and see the different color pop off the page
