National Crime Victims’ Rights Week is April 21-27, 2013. If you or someone you know is a crime victim, there are several resources that may be of assistance. The Arizona State Constitution includes a Victims’ Bill of Rights. The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office offers a variety of services to help ensure that a victim’s rights are upheld, and you can read more about their services on their website. The Arizona Attorney General’s Office also has some helpful information on victims’ services including a brief that lists some Arizona events being held in honor of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. Additionally, the Arizona Department of Corrections has an Office of Victim Services which you can read more about on their website.
