City Codes and Ordinances

Frequently we receive questions from patrons asking what the Arizona law is on a specific topic. There is often the assumption that there is a state law that addresses each issue, but that is not always the case. And even if there is a state law, those researching a legal issue may also find it necessary to determine if there is a city ordinance regarding the same issue. The Law Library has gathered links for the online city codes or ordinances for over 60 different Arizona communities on one handy webpage which can be found by clicking here. If you go to this webpage, you will find links to city codes for Arizona communities ranging from Apache Junction to Yuma including Phoenix, Tucson, and Flagstaff among many others.  If you have a need to frequently research or look into city codes or ordinances for different Arizona communities, you may wish to bookmark this page!
